The book scientifically constructed the theoretical system of Pu 'er tea, and was awarded as "Outstanding bestseller in science and Technology" by The National Books and Periodicals Distribution Association in 2004. It has been reprinted 24 times, with a print run of more than 120,000 copies. In 2005, the book was published in Traditional And Korean versions in Taiwan and South Korea respectively, marking that the scientific system of Yunnan Pu 'er tea went out of the country and exerted a great influence at home and abroad. It played a positive role in promoting Yunnan Pu 'er tea and promoting the development of Yunnan tea industry.
